What is dry steam and how does this steamer differ from normal steamers?
Most residential steamers use boilers that are designed for low pressure operation. While effective in some applications, low pressure steam leaves behind a considerable amount of hot water residue during cleaning and requires long contact times for disinfecting surfaces and objects. Dry steam, also known as “saturated steam”, is produced when water is heated and pressurized beyond its normal boiling point of 212°F.

The higher the temperature/pressure of the steam, the less water the steam will contain by mass.

The Aspiron Steamer combines high heat with 7 bars of pressure, to produce dry steam that contains no more than 5% water by mass.
